School may be out for the summer, but the educational, professional, and networking offerings for nonprofits are just getting started.
From our 2016 Best Nonprofit Conferences Calendar, here are five hot summer events that are sure to bring the heat.
2016 Nonprofit Marketing Conference
First up, the 2016 Nonprofit Marketing Conference kicks off today in Washington, DC. Attendees will enjoy educational offerings on better outward facing communications, content marketing, telling your nonprofit's story, and much more.
The event's impressive keynote speaker lineup is also worth noting: the Chief Marketing Officer from the Human Rights Campaign, the one-and-only Beth Kanter, the Senior VP of Brand at the National Geographic Society, and the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer from the UN Foundation.
Bridge to Integrated Marketing + Fundraising
The Bridge Conference is one of the hottest tickets for nonprofit fundraisers this summer. Starting Wednesday, the event will feature a non-stop schedule packed with great sessions and workshops.
Major gifts, win-back programs, industry trends, data and testing, direct marketing, development planning, crowdfunding, fundraising on mobile, and the future of strategic storytelling - and that's just the first day! Attendees are sure to leave Bridge with a lot of valuable information to bring back and put into action at their organizations.
By the way, if you're headed to Bridge, we're sending some of our email marketing, recurring gift program, and fundraising experts, too. Make sure to stop by and chat with the EveryAction team about all the ways you're building a better fundraising program this year (and beyond)!
Netroots Nation 2016
The highly-anticipated, always exceptional Netroots Nation annual gathering is taking over downtown St. Louis at the end of this week. Progressive organizers, activists, and nonprofiteers will come together over four days to break down the relationships between social justice, digital culture, and current political discourse.
But it doesn't end there. Besides its rich conference schedule, Netroots also offers several social events and breakout sessions during which attendees can meet and collaborate with their peers, including a comedy show, happy hours, the annual Pundit's cup, the New Tools Tech Shootout, and more.
If you’re making your way to NN16, make sure to catch up with our EveryAction team for hot tech talk, cool swag, and a look at the brand new EveryAction 8 platform. Members of our team will be speaking on panels, conducting trainings, and hanging out in the Town Square all week so make sure to say hello!
2016 New York Nonprofit Conference
Big Apple nonprofits: this one’s for you. The New York Nonprofit Conference starts August off with two days of collaboration around direct and interactive market-driven philanthropy, local networks, and more. Attendees will also learn about important updates on relevant legislative and regulatory issues for the NY nonprofit community.
Our favorite part? The event kicks off with a NYC-based community service project that will help attendees feel good and get into the do-good spirit.
YNPN National Conference + Leaders Institute
Young nonprofit pros are headed to Portland as the local chapter hosts YNPN’s annual conference. The Activate! Summit will feature a wide variety of sessions aimed at helping young people at the nonprofits to navigate the changing sector and offer essential career building skills.
Also on the schedule, YNPN chapters will come together for a Leaders Institute to discuss ways to develop and engage their communities.
If you're not attending any of these events, make sure to live vicariously by following along with them on social media!
