Meet the EveryAction Team

Renee Estrada

At EveryAction we’re on a mission to provide nonprofits with best-in-class fundraising, engagement, and advocacy tools, but we like to think that we’re a pretty fun place to work, too.

We strive to promote a healthy work life balance. That’s why our team hosts things like social fridays, team yoga classes, company wide bake-offs, and other activities to de-stress. Sure, sometimes there’s a crunch to release something, or a customer support ticket that requires extra attention — but those cases are few and far between. Even email is kept to a minimum after-hours. And if you need to work from home from time to time, that’s encouraged too.

In fact, recently we were named one of Inc.'s Best Workplaces! But don’t just take it from me. Here are what some members of our Sales Team had to say about working at EveryAction. And if you're interested in joining our team, check out our current openings

DSC_0367.jpgQ: What’s your role at EveryAction?

A: I serve as the lead technical resource and expert for the EveryAction Sales team. Our product team and engineers release new features nearly every week(!), so my main role is to help our Sales Team stay on top of all the exciting new features and help prospective clients understand how EveryAction tools can meet their needs.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at EveryAction?
A: I really enjoy the connection with co-workers and clients that share my values. And as a parent, I appreciate that EveryAction provides generous benefits and allows me to have the flexibility needed to do my job well.

Q: What’s your go-to coffee order?
A: I drink mostly tea, but I can never turn down a nice cold brew on a warm day.

Q: What is your favorite karaoke song to perform?
A: Alanis Morissette, “You Oughta Know.” It’s all angst and performance; very little actual vocal talent is required.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at EveryAction?
A: There is a relaxed and flexible work culture here that can be tough to find in D.C.

Q: What’s your go-to coffee order?
A: Caramel Macchiato

Q: What is your favorite karaoke song to perform?
A: Fresh Prince of Bel Air- Will Smith

Q: What’s your role at EveryAction?
A: I am the Senior Director of Sales. Essentially, I sell to enterprise social service organizations and manage the team that sells to mid-market nonprofits.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at EveryAction?
A: The people who work here. I know everyone says that about their job but I am pretty confident my coworkers are the best. In the current news cycle, it seems like bad news makes it to all the headlines. It's really great to walk into work every day and know that you have coworkers who are actively making the world a better place.

Q: What’s your go-to coffee order?
A: Black - it's the most efficient and tastes the best.

Q: What is the craziest place you have ever travelled?
A: When I was 21 I went to Taiwan by myself - a friend backed out last minute. At first I was really nervous since I had never travelled alone but I ended up having a lot of experiences I otherwise would have never had including crashing a very fancy wedding on the top of the Taipei 101 in jeans and a gross t shirt.

Q: What’s your role at EveryAction?
A: I am an Account Executive on the mid-market team working mostly with reproductive health and justice, animal welfare, and education organizations.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at EveryAction?
A: It’s definitely a tie between the amazing people I’ve met and getting to work with so many great and inspiring organizations on a daily basis.

Q: What is your favorite lunch spot?
A: Definitely the food trucks at Farragut square!

Q: What is the craziest place you have ever travelled?
A: My roommate and I are going on a backpacking trip through Greece next week! We have a few things planned out but for the most part we’re just exploring and seeing where we end up.

Q: What’s your role at EveryAction?
A: I'm the Director of Major Markets. I work with nonprofits to evaluate our fundraising and marketing platform and help them dream about a world filled with higher conversion rates and increased fundraising. I mainly work with clients in the climate and conservation space, but have recently taken on international aid organizations as well.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at EveryAction?
A: The people. I've worked at EveryAction for over five years now and can honestly say I have made some of my best friends here. I'm consistently in awe of what my coworkers produce and achieve. I'll also throw in that we have a nearly unlimited supply of La Croix at all times.

Q: What is your favorite lunch spot?
A: District Taco

Q: What’s your go-to coffee order?
A: I am hopelessly addicted to coffee, and especially enjoy the maple nitro cold brew from Compass Coffee.

Q:What do you do at EveryAction?
A: Help nonprofits to evaluate and then implement EveryAction to grow their revenue and results.

Q: What is your favorite perk of working at EveryAction?
A: Working with awesome nonprofit clients that help people alongside amazing teammates. Parking my bike right in the office is cool too.

Q: Do you prefer coffee or tea?
A: While I love coffee and tea, I prefer water.

Q: What is the craziest place you have ever travelled?
A: Climbing ladders in an ice cave in the Austrian Alps with my family. Teaching my son to drive stick in Iceland almost ties.
