Turn Passive Supporters into Power Fundraisers with Peer-to-Peer Fundraising

Divya Kunapuli

Nonprofit fundraising is too important to be left to just one person or a few staff. Effective nonprofits empower their volunteers and supporters to fundraise on their behalf and provide them with tools to make that easy.

With Peer-to-Peer Fundraising, nonprofits using EveryAction for online contributions have a powerful new tool at their disposal to maximize their fundraising programs and gain entry into new networks of potential donors.

All a supporter has to do is create their own personal online contribution form and share it with their colleagues, friends, and family members for donations. Peer-to-Peer fundraising also allows your supporters to track the success of their contribution form by privately displaying data on the number of donations made and total dollars donated. Here's how it works:

Creating a Peer-to-Peer fundraising campaign within Online Actions is simple. An admininstrator or nonprofit staff member sets up a default fundraising page to give supporters' pages a unifed look and feel, as well as default page copy and automated confirmation emails.

Once a Peer-to-Peer form has been published, it can be sent to supporters and potential fundraisers directly, where they will be greeted with a sign up form to create their own fundraising page.

Once a fundraiser has signed up, they’ll be taken to their Fundraising Dashboard, which allows them to edit their message and goal. The Dashboard contains the Fundraiser’s unique link that they will share via social media or directly to their potential donors.

Once saved, the fundraiser’s unique URL will immediately be available for sharing!
